March 2016 Newsletter

posted Mar 12, 2016, 3:20 PM by Mark Morris
Our main theme through the month of March will be Easter as well as oviparous animals. We will also be having our traditional egg show and tell. In the second week of March, we will send home a plastic easter egg with a sheet of paper in a small plastic bag. Could you please help your child find an item that will fit in this egg. Your next job will be to help them write down 3 clues that might lead us to guess what their show and tell item would be as well as the child’s name. The item can be anything they might find in the house or in nature. Just be creative, have fun and make sure your child is involved in the process. The actual show and tell days will be Tuesday, March 15 and Wednesday, March 16.

This year spring break ties in with Easter. Therefore there will be no school from Friday, March 25 through Sunday, April 3. Classes resume Monday, April 4.

Just a few reminders. Even though classroom doors are open early to access the children’s lockers, classes do not commence until 8:45. Do not lead your children into the classroom until one of the teachers indicates it is time. Also, this is dependent on the helper(s) of the day being on time and ready to go. Also, children must have a change of clothes always available at the school. There are many reasons they might need to change one or a few items of clothing.

Thanking you for your continuing cooperation,
